We bring you face-to-face with influential mentors who've dedicated their lives to making the world a better place. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to spark your passion for addressing current events and equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to create meaningful change. In an environment dedicated to inclusivity and diversity, we invite you to explore and engage with a wide range of societal issues. Through interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and hands-on experiences, we'll cultivate your critical thinking, empathy, and leadership skills.
Kristen Thomasino is the CEO of Thomasino Media LLC and Buddytown Consulting LLC, with 22 published works. Kristen works as an advisor to many teams. Recognized in 2023 by United States Congressional Representative Nanette Barragan with the Veteran Voices for Fibromyalgia, a health advocacy campaign, and acknowledged as a Global Consultancy Award recipient. Kristen leads 5 Think Tanks and serves as a public and keynote speaker, including a prominent appearance at the World Women Forum 2023 in Paris and Las Vegas, where the topics of discussion centered around the Economy, Supply Chain, Social Good, Fintech, Technology, Data Science, Creative Living, Real Estate, and Environment Stewardship. She also contributed to the development of one of the largest B2B Payment Networks in the United States, integrating with over 150+ Accounting Systems, Mastercard, and 5000+ Banks. Kristen received year-over-year Top Performer awards for individual performance and as a team leader during her tenure and later an AvidXchange Excellence Award. She received the Community Impact Award from the Veteran Voices for Fibromyalgia and the Lead Award from The Support Fibromyalgia Network. In 2023, The Soldiers of America recognized her support for veterans nationwide.
Furthermore, the shows created by and hosted by Thomasino are carried on 20+ networks, and she released an application on Apple and Android.
Marie Y. Lemelle, MBA, is a film producer, social change activist, global entrepreneur, visionary, award-winning journalist, and celebrity public relations consultant. She champions her philosophy "Transform Goals to Greatness" through her branding, marketing, and public relations expertise as the CEO and founder of the certified minority woman-owned Platinum Star Public Relations, Inc. Marie has spearheaded major red carpet events, golf tournaments, concerts, film festivals, and award shows. She has advanced diversity and inclusion for communities through her business, Platinum Star Media Group, Inc., a film production and talent management company. She is an instructor and mentor with various organizations.
Marie is a former City of Glendale Commissioner for the Commission on the Status of Women. Marie serves on the advisory board for the YWCA Glendale-Pasadena and advocates to end racism. She tells culturally relevant stories as a screenwriter and playwright. Her stage play, "Harambee! Harambee! (All Pull Together)," which focuses on unveiling the hidden truth about Black and Brown history, is commissioned and produced annually by the prestigious The Robey Theatre Company founded by Ben Guillory and veteran Award-winning Actor Danny Glover. She is a 2023 honoree of the Cultural Inclusion Foundation and the recipient of several honors and awards.
Dr. E. Lance McCarthy is a renowned global economist. He has consulted and or been affiliated with the White House Task Force, Harvard Lecturer, Ferguson 1000 Jobs, Black Silicon Valley, The Catholic Church, Orlando Urban League, Rainbow Push Silicon Valley Project, and Venture Draft, a conference connecting Athletes, Technology, and Venture Capital.
Raffles van Exel, a name synonymous with creativity, innovation, and philanthropy, was born and raised in the Netherlands. He moved to Hollywood, California, and ultimately guided the careers of icons such as the King of Pop and Michael Jackson, along with legends like Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Ray Charles, and Prince.
As a humanitarian, Van Exel's song "Why Oh Why," a collaboration with producing partners Narada Michael Walden and Emilio Estefan, has become a movement about world peace and is up for consideration for the Grammys Best Song for Social Change in 2024.
The song, powered by Artists for Global Unity, features 80 diverse children from across the nation on the tracks recorded by award-winning CeeLo Green, French Montana, Fantasia, Kenny Lattimore, and Emily Estefan.
